I'd like to thanks Mr Richard Edwards for his new book "Sandylands", published in England at 2005. And I'd like to tell about the book in Russia with great pleasure.

In my labrador library there are about 60 books and magazines. I was happy to buy the new book "Sandylands" by Mr Richard Edwards at "CRUFTS 2005" in Birmingham.

Хочу выразить благодарность Mr Richard Edwards за его новую книгу "Sandylands", вышедшую в Англии в 2005 году. И я с огромным удовольствием представляю её в России. 

Моя небольшая лабрадорская библиотека насчитывает чуть более 60 книг и журналов. В Бирмингеме на "CRUFTS 2005" мне посчастливилось приобрести новую книгу "Sandylands", автор Mr Richard Edwards. 

"A history of the Sandylands kennel from the first Labrador, Juno, purchased in 1929 right through to the present champions owned by Mr.& Mrs.G.Anthony and Mrs.Erica Jayes.

It is a card-covered book of about 200 pages containing over 100 illustrations printed on nice quality paper, the pictures have reproduced very well. Many of the pictures have never been published before. Most of the modern breeders will find the illustrations new and interesting. The bulk of the book is about Labradors but all the breeds owned at Sandylands are recorded - Cocker Spaniel, English Springer Spaniel, Flat-Coated Retriever & Pointer."

Книга рассказывает об истории создания легендарного питомника Sandylands от первого, приобретённого в 1929 году,  лабрадора Juno до современных Чемпионов питомника, принадлежащих Mr.& Mrs.G.Anthony and Mrs.Erica Jayes. 

Объём книги около 200 страниц, родословные выдающихся лабрадоров питомника, более 100 фотографий, многие из которых публикуются впервые. Книга отпечатана на качественной бумаге. Большинство современных заводчиков лабрадоров найдут для себя в книге много нового и интересного. И хотя книга в основном о лабрадорах питомника Sandylands, в ней представлены также другие породы, которыми занимались в питомнике - английский кокер спаниель, спрингер спаниель, прямошёрстный ретривер и пойнтер.
